SATIEE for HR

We help SMBs & organisations achieve compliance at scale

Fair decisions on reasonable adjustments depend on insight that most organisations do not yet have. This page shows where that gap appears and how SATIEE gives HR that insight.

Many HR teams hear about adjustment requests too late to help because without one clear route in they arrive through corridors and inboxes. Managers who feel unsure about deciding then pass each decision to HR and the team becomes a bottleneck for choices that should take a day. Some requests then stall on a health and safety worry nobody can quite name and sit in limbo while the employee waits. Behind that worry sits a harder question about where a reasonable adjustment ends and a disproportionate one begins, which many organisations have no shared way to answer. This is the gap where expectations split apart and a stalled request turns into a tribunal claim.

SATIEE gives HR one route in for every request through a bespoke catalogue HR curates. Even a request raised in a corridor can be logged on the employee's behalf with their consent. With SATIEE the HR team sees the whole queue and can take over any case while requests go first to the employee's manager, depending on your SATIEE configuration. A worry becomes a question in the request's own thread and the employee's reply puts it straight back in the queue, while anything left waiting too long is flagged to HR. The catalogue also settles the question of what is reasonable in advance because HR agrees what the organisation offers and every refusal needs a written reason the employee can read. Every step is kept in a history that cannot be edited alongside Equality Act and GDPR reports ready to export. This means HR can show how any decision was made if it is ever challenged.
